Cleveland Advocate DA's Corner- "Lies and Spin"

In a recent oped article in the Cleveland Advocate and Dayton News, Liberty County DA Mike Little lies and attempts to further deceive the people with the help of Cleveland Advocate Editor, Vanesa Brashier.

The oped by Mike Little states the following:

"Additionally, our law specifically provides that the power to require bail must not be used as an instrument of oppression.

In other words, our judges can’t just lock them up and throw away the key. Television has really played a huge part in the public’s misunderstanding of the bail bond system in Texas.

In almost all court and crime shows such as “Law and Order,” judges almost flippantly deny bond or set a huge amount of millions of dollars. It just doesn’t work that way in the real world and under the laws of Texas.

While our judges are criticized from time to time about the bail amounts which they set in particular cases, those criticisms are almost always unfair and unwarranted. Judges do not have unlimited discretion or authority when it comes to setting bail."

What a blatant deflection and series of lies from Liberty County Mike Little trying to lay off his constant excessive bail request and bail harassment off on Judge Cain, Judge Morefield and Judge Chambers. Liberty Dispatch has evidence that Little has in fact been the one who has pushed for excessive bail amounts to harass defendants and political enemies (story coming soon). All in an attempt to harm them financially. With corrupt Judge CT "Rusty" Hight gone, LD readers and county dignitaries have questioned- 'when are the Liberty County Judges going to send a message to Mike Little that they will not legitimize his selective prosecution and corrupt acts thought their courts'?

Then you have his instrument of deceit, Vanesa Brashier on one hand who complains about Liberty County DA Mike Little's corrupt behavior and then on the other hand enables his lies and corruption in her papers and website by giving Mike Little a special place to attempt cover for his corrupt acts.  Clearly a Jekyll and Hyde formula for her narcissistic double dealing.

Liberty Dispatch would like to know when Liberty County DA Mike Little and his cohort, Vanesa Brashier plan to enlighten the public about Mike Little's homosexual rape of a retarded prisoner which he is now being sued for in the 253rd Judicial District Court.

Liberty Dispatch readers would also like to know why no federal or state grand jury has been convened to investigate these very serious charges which have been leveled against Liberty County DA Mike Little.  Furthermore, why hasn't a federal or state grand jury investigated the weapons related assault by Mike Little's number two man- Joe Warren?

Don't look for the truth in the Cleveland Advocate- expect only a circus of "Lies and Spin..."

With CT Hight's and Mike Little's corruption, Liberty County has been pushed back into the dark ages. There is a glimmer of hope though not evident.

County Judge Craig McNair and all three of the judges in the courthouse have presented a conservative money saving plan to lessen the amout of time people awaiting trial spend in jail. Part of the reason for doing this is so taxpayers don't pay for people to stay in jail that have not yet been convicted. The plan only includes people who are not considered dangerous or a flight risk. One of the extra benefits of this approach may be to lessen some of the politcal games Mike Little plays when he targets certain people. It will not end his selective persecution however because he can argue any of his enemies is "dangerous" or is a "flight risk". Little needs to retire.

Our local papers are not keeping us informed or safe from crooked politicians.

add some, to the list of hoops.

You people are late to the game. Mike Little has been doing this for years. He kisses the right rear ends, poses for the cameras, and drags his enemies through the halls of his special little justice.

I once read one of Little's Articles in one of the local papers. I quit reading them because, I don't believe a word he says. This is a way he uses to promote himself and make people believe he knows what he is doing. Sorry little, you are outta here come next election.

With newspapers struggling like never before, papaers like the Advoctae and the Dayton News better not get caught turning a blind eye to abuse of office by elected officials. it could cost them the remaining readership they have. Subscriber numbers are often inflated to justify ad rates.

Finally a county with justice in their court system Judge Mark Morefield replacing the bench that has had liberal politicians like Hight and Zbranek is a huge improvement. Judge Cain has always been a law and order conservative, but it is good that his change to the Republcian party makes him more in line with his conservative values. Judge Chambers has been a pleasant surprise. After he won running as a Republican I wondered if he would act like one and he has. This is a great county Ray. We are beginning to live up to our potential. Stick with it justice is on the way and the truth will set you free.

On the bail situation how do you compare the amount of bail set on the same types of cases? i know someone that was charged with sex assault of a child and the bail was set at 300,000 and there are many others charged with the same thing and theirs was only set at 25,000 how is that even comparable.

for the question on Judge Morefield how is a person that appears to have no criminal law background placed in a criminal court room? oh wait its all political in Liberty County

Little is now seeking headlines with the new 'continuous sexual abuse' statute, touting his 60 year and life sentences, just handed down. (see article below)

This is clearly an intimidation and fear ploy, aimed at the 19, that are accused in the Cleveland gang rape case.
He's using this to strong arm them into plea deals, to save the prosecution time and costs.

DuhhNesa is showing her top two allegiances, simultaneously: democrat puppet and white supremacist (though, not in that order, as she backed the recall of black democrat council members)!

Here's the DA's latest article in duhhNesa's rag:

you are correct that Vanesa is a racist.

It sounds like Little, (with Vanesa's sponsorship,) is trying to railroad the 19 into plea bargains, avoiding trials.

I'll bet it's because he knows he can't withstand the defense presentations on the 11 year old's conduct, career choice, facebook page, the others involved (exempted from arrest and prosecution), or her mother (who taught her the trade, and repeatedly, transported her to her 'corner.')

He knows the juries will be loathe to convict, without parole, for anyone who was so entrapped. He also knows how hard it is to get convictions for raping known prostitutes. That doesn't sit well with jurors!

Do these two really think that the public believes their media lies and schemes; or is too stupid, not to see through them?

I see that the Ross boys have signed with Baylor Female College, aka U of Mary-Hardin Baylor. I wonder if the school is aware of that family's connection with the 11 year old's gang rape? I wonder if the school thinks that the twins will follow the 'family tradition', or that their coeds are safe? see
