RICHARD PEGUES: “SHERIFF’S HIT TEAM WILL BE COMING AFTER MORE PRIVATE CITIZENS”

Richard Pegues, a former three time Republican Party chairman and a local government teacher, says that Sheriff Henry Patterson’s hit team has other private citizens in the cross-hairs as the primaries for the sheriff’s re-election bid approaches.

Pegues points out there are several unique things about Sheriff Patterson’s efforts:

1) Though their supporters are bragging that several millionaires from Liberty County will fund his campaign and get him anything he wants, Patterson’s hardest working campaigners are all from outside of Liberty County.

2) Patterson’s supporters from outside the county have said they have been “investigating” people in order to discourage anyone from coming out and working for Patterson’s opponent, longtime Republican hero Bobby Rader. “And that will make you think twice before helping Rader”.

3) An analysis of the calendar makes it clear the people from outside of this county have recently tried to hide under the guise of “media investigators”. Their bragging, and no doubt, their investigating goes back far enough that they are clearly trying to cover up they have had no private investigation license to do what they have done - breaking the law.

4) It is alleged that Sheriff Patterson is either funding this illegal mudslinging under the guise of investigations or his millionaire friends are or his buddies from outside the county are doing this as a “love offering”.

5) One of Henry Patterson’s supporters is quite the chatterbox and he brags that Bobby Rader, a former law enforcement officer and a current judge, will be “the first judge but not the last” to be on the not welcome list formed by this group from outside the county.

6) “Chatterbox” brags that “It doesn’t really matter if you have done anything wrong, we can dig up stuff and make you look like the devil”.

7) There is no probable cause for any of these “investigations” to be funded, or even sanctioned, by Sheriff Patterson.

8) Any connection Sheriff Patterson has to these “investigations” is alleged to be a violation of free speech and clear intimidation and oppression.

9) Sheriff Patterson’s political hit team slings the stupidest accusations and calls things like affidavits from their own team “evidence” of things that are too ridiculous to ever be considered in a court of law. This is an indication of the type of investigatory efforts that our county sheriff has attached to his name – and to our counties’ name

10) Agree with this website’s opinions or not, for those people who say Patterson’s Henchman are similar in any way to Liberty Dispatch or any media think on this: We pose questions we want answers to, in many cases Patterson’s gang knows the answer before they pose the question and presents something to the public that is much different than what they know is true.

For example: Eddie Shauberger has embraced as friends Bobby Rader and Richard Pegues for years and now he is signing affidavits and producing four years old e-mails and trying to make his friends look bad - all on behalf Henry Patterson for Sheriff. Where were his questions and complaints just a few weeks ago?

Here is my question: "Is Sheriff Patterson going to arrest all county workers and all school employees who appear to have sent an e-mail on their computer at work to a friend within the last five years?" I ask that because his representatives have implied he might do something like that.

Patterson would think his buddy Eddie's affidavit was great evidence? Perjury charges, tampering with govt document charges aside.

Until Henry allows us to follow the money from his slush fund these guys will say anything. Show us Henry Patterson .... where have you spent the mega dollars and where are the assets that you have seized as sheriff?

The people running this website have been ridiculously critical of Sheriff Patterson because he has brought in people from outside this community to help him. That is not illegal. he has brought in Robert Valdez and Cliff William and others because they are not from here and can not be railroaded like you guys sometimes are. he Thes people brought in Shauberger because they needed someone to tell them about the people in Liberty and they needed some expertise on politics. What the hell is wrong with that? Get over it. Talk about something else.

People from Fresno need to be involved in Fresno politcs, not ours. If Henry Patterson is caught paying these people one dime, we need to have a recall drive.

Do Eddie Shauberger and henry Patterson go to casinos together and play black jack. Eddie says he is the king of black jack.

Shauberger must like black jack because when he says "hit me" he doesn't have to go to court or answer his critics.

Patterson came in with Obama and I hope they both go out together.

Why did Henry Patterson refuse topursuit evidence offered to him about former County Judge Phil Fitzgerald's generator theft. he and Little are more alike than I thought.

While Henry has some good people around him, he has more questionable ones.

Where is (NO SHOW) Henry at when we need some answers to all these questions about the siezed money, siezed assets and his where abouts for the last three years. I think Henry has already shown us what kind of sheriff he is. I am ready for a change and will help, aid and assist Bobby Rader.

Henry Patterson has let his Harris County rejects fire some of the best deputies he could have on his team. They were hometown guys and well liked in the community. The best part is that they can sway a lot of votes and I am sure that they will assist Bobby Rader in every way possible when election time comes.

In the Navy and Merchant Marine, it's put another way: "any port, in a storm." I call it: wishful thinking! However, the previous poster's term, (FOBS,) is colorful, and fluent Sailor-ese, but quite adequate (and probably, more on the mentality level of the LC readership.)

BTW: the full sheriff's crew was at bf this morning (including the right hand and left hand chairs.) Also present, were the sup't's dad, the campaign's financier (has been council member,) an also ran-(JP's race loser,) and a cop. Notably, Chris Minx was in full ag-gie costume, sporting his pro rodeo jacket ("Cow"-boy Pro Rodeo Assn- as if we have to be told that cow/bs types hold, or do rodeos...) Funny thing is, I didn't know that you could even saddle goats, let alone ride them!

Richard Pegues is right about his former friend Eddie Shauberger. Shauberger has many problems, hidden and obvious ones. Going to church with him just blinded people close to him.
