Libby is a great woman, a true conservative, and will make a great Justice of the Peace.

We agree these are the facts. Al and Libby Simonson are fine capable people and we believe she would doa good job. Roy House has already shown he will do an excellent job.

She really wants a $39,000 a year job where she has to look at dead people why?

All the money the Simonson's have and the fact she knows nothing about the job, that salary should be a complete insult to her list of qualifications. Really.......

Libby will do well, she has our support.

Don't know her at all. But is she planning on this being a full-time job or part-time one? If part-time, about how many hours a week?

try overtime job. JP's get called at all hours to pronounce bodies at accident scenes.

Few, if any, of them work a 40 hour week, some of them have one, two, or three other jobs. Sorry.

A JP is not required to set at their office 24 hours a day. This is why we now have cell phones. I know some JP's that do other things and still take care of their duties as a JP. I think she would make a great JP. I am wondering if she wins, will she be the first woman JP in Liberty County?

nope, not the first woman JP. Many of their clerks were defacto JP's, whenever they were out. One of those, clerks in Tarkington.

It is interesting to talk to one of the LD people and get such a positive upbeat opinion of Libby (and her husband Al). I am surprised because the Pickett led work at the city is not on mine or their list of work well done.
